About Krafty Presentations & Graphics

Starting out in the glorious Gippsland region of Victoria in the early 1990's Krafty began designing band posters, band logos and flyers for local musicians. It only took a few short years from there before word got around and Krafty branched out to suburban Melbourne.

Then in 1995 "Krafty Presentations & Graphics" was born.

As the "Krafty" word spread and digital designing took over the graphic design world Krafty Presentations & Graphics jumped quickly into website creation.

Of course we never forgot our roots, the bands which started the Krafty ball rolling, and by 1997 when some of our band clientele were beginning to talk about producing their own CD's and DVD's Krafty was their first call for album artwork.

In 1999 with new expansions on the horizon Krafty secured a contract with one of Sydney's largest pool and spa servicing companies to design and maintain a website and e-commerce package specifically tailored to their needs. Utilising such technologies as Java and Pearl we created a site which, at that time, was one of the largest e-commerce sites in Australia. Over 500 listed products, each with descriptions and images, a fully compliant shopping cart and secure credit card transactions. By mid 2000 our first leap into the world of shopping carts and E-commerce was attracting more than 2,000 unique visitors a week and more than 1700 registered customers.

Our long standing relationship with musicians continued into the new decade and artists like Bradley Von Rock returned regularly asking us to produced album sleeves, websites and concert posters. As well as working for Bradley Von Rock we also worked for a number of other bands during this time and some of the work we did can be viewed as a part of our Graphic Design pages.

Ensuring our customers always receive the best service we can offer, by 2003 we had not only researched the best and newest web techniques, we'd mastered them.

Understanding W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) standards, adapting to techniques and languages like CSS, DHTML, XHTML and PHP (to name a few), ensured Krafty websites were of a quality our clients expected.

SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) became a buzzword in the website industry during the 2000's and many website design companies used it purely in an effort to convince customers they knew the industry. Krafty Presentations & Graphics on the other hand strived to know and understand SEO and exactly what it meant for both us as designers and our customers.

We regularly research and revisit all major search engines to ensure we understand the best techniques and methods used by fussy search engines spiders to index websites. We don't just settle for the main page being indexed by search engines, we strive from all pages to be indexed.

In 2007 Krafty undertook one of our largest projects, the e-commerce site of Snap Crackle & Pop. Incorporating website technologies that in 2000 (when we created our first e-commerce website) were not widely available to all we jumped into using programming techniques like PHP and smarty forms. The result was a 2300+ item, on-line product catalogue and shopping system.

While 2008 saw us focusing mainly on our regular and long standing customers with website overhauls and new promotional material we also expanded our services into an affordable and reliable website hosting which allowed us to offer customers the full service from website hosting to graphic design to printed media all under the one banner.

By the end of 2008 news of our work and services had not just traveled fast but travelled wide and extended all the way to Canada where an embroidery company named Embroodles requested our assistance to maintaining their e-commerce store.

2008 also saw Krafty undertake some backend server work on the Sun and Snow e-commerce website as well as taking over website design, website hosting and email administration duties for Latrobe Valley Bus Lines one of Victoria's largest regional public transport companies.

In 2009 KPG introduced Kate Von Rock to the web world when we designed and launched her first website showcasing her brilliant artistic talent. Keeping it in the family in the same year we also developed more promotional material and artwork for the Bradley Von Rock collection.

Never content with just dipping our feet in the pool in 2010 Krafty Presentations & Graphics took one of their largest leaps ever and began creating Krafty Farm Assistant, a complete inventory and maintenance recording package specifically designed for farmers. A project which took us nearly a year to bug test and fine tune before it was complete.

Word of our work again spread and in 2011 the now defunct committee for National Navara Ute Muster called upon Krafty to design a website for their inaugural ute muster.

Although much of our focus over the last few years has been on designing, operating and building up clientele for Krafty Farm Assistant we have not remained idle on the design front.

We've been called on to design wedding invites, (place cards, thank you cards etc included) for several clients, we've run several advertising campaigns (national and state specific) for Krafty Farm Assistant and we are currently in the process of relaunching a full advertising and promotional campaign for Bradley Von Rock as well as a revamped Kate Von Rock website.

While many companies would consider this more than enough work to keep themselves going we are more than happy to discuss any new contracts with clients at any time.

If you've got some design work that needs doing why not contact us to discuss your needs.
